Nagaland is a state in Northeast India.The state capital is Kohima, and the largest city is Dimapur.The origin of the word ‘Naga’ is unclear.A popularly accepted, but controversial, view is that it originated from the Burmese word ‘naka’ or ‘naga’, meaning people with earrings. Others suggest it means pierced noses.Dimapur, Kohima, Mokokchung, Mon, Phek, Tuensang, Wokha, and Zunheboto. Nagaland became the 16th state of India on 1 December 1963. Agriculture is the most important economic activity and the principal crops include rice, corn, milletspulses, tobacco, oilseedssugarcane, potatoes, and fibres, which covers 70% of the state’s economy. Other significant economic activity includes forestry, tourism, insurance, real estate, and miscellaneous cottage industries.

The climate of Nagaland is comfortable all through the year. The temperature of the state ranges from 16°C to 31°C in summer (May to July) and 4°C to 24°C during winter season. The monsoon that spreads from the month of June to early September is marked by heavy rains.

Day 3-Early morning we Explore the enchanting valley, on the way sightsee the caves, varieties of flowers and its cold rivers that crisscross each other. Later, find a great spot or a cave and camp overnight in the midst of the Dzukou valley.

Day 4-Early morning see the sunrise and after breakfast start your trek downhill towards the base camp via Jakhama. On reaching Viswema village & Back to Kohima.

Day 5-After brakefast transfer to Dimapur station/Airport & transfer to Kohima distance arround(75 km 3.5hrs approx).You back at your home with sweet memories.
